December 1. Back from Chile. After Paranal it was Valaparaiso, best graffiti, primary colour hilltops houses, the port and the seafood. And the Andes, seen from the Cajon de Maipo: condors, singing arriedos, glaciers, climbing, mud baths. Both sea and mountains 90 mins from capital city Santiago. Chile rocks.

November 26. In Cerro Paranal, in the Atacama desert, writing a story on the ESO, European Southern Observatory. Mind blowing place. Travelling with Lukas Hueller and Christopher Angerer from Vienna. Below are some of the many brilliant pictures Lukas has taken.
